What This Book Teaches

When you stop dwelling on your garbage, everything that's left over has value.

You can't change what's happened. But you can change the garbage you've created around it.

Beliefs and opinions that have no value don't have to run you anymore.

It it doesn't help you get to the place you want to be, it's truly garbage.

A Note from the Authors, Norm and Steven

"We wrote The Garbageman's Guide to Life because we wanted to share a fundamental lesson we had learned from our years in the waste industry: If your life isn't where you want it to be, there's probably garbage in your way. And garbage was meant to be thrown out, not carried around year after year. When you toss that trash, amazing things can start to happen."
